Aptly called Power Mix, this is a flour-less bread mix that uses whole grains, nuts, and seeds. It is high in protein, fiber, iron and potassium and contains zero cholesterol. Gluten Free and Vegan.
Its incredibly easy to make all you need is water, a bread/loaf tin and an oven. The baked bread can be frozen for up to 3 months.
- Just add the packet mix to 300 ml of cold water and stir thoroughly. The mixture will be sticky, cover with a cloth and set aside for 1hr. Do NOT add more water.
- Add the mixture to a loaf (baking) tin* and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and leave to cool to room temperature for 2 hrs before removing bread from tin. Slice and serve.
* A flexible silicon loaf tin/pan works best, for easy removal of the loaf
Ingredients: Almonds, pumpkin seeds, brown rice, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds, psyllium husk, salt, pepper
